I just discovered designer, Katie Maennle and I love her style! Although Katie was raised in North Carolina, her first store launch was in Austin in 2010. I love her description on her site about the Katie Maennle lifestyle brand, "...a woman and her life should be 3 things: playful, feminine and bold." As you can see, she has furniture, prints, stationary, accessories and is developing a clothing line. I think this girl will be one to watch. With the popularity of Tory Burch and Elaine Turner, the preppy, Palm Beach lifestyle is still thriving. I think these women are genius because they didn't just set out to sell you a product. They are selling you a complete way of life...served up on a cute lucite, monogrammed tray of course!
