Texas Governor, Rick Perry and First Lady Anita Perry celebrate their first Christmas in the Governor’ s mansion since it has been renovated. As staunch supporters of our nation’s military, the Governor and First Lady chose a military theme to honor our nation’s armed forces.  Decorations include Nutcrackers resembling soldiers and names of veterans sprinkled amongst the greenery and flowers.  Only in Texas can a designer combine a nativity scene and soldiers in a tasteful way!  While many parts of our country debate what the “appropriate” holiday display is, no one has to wonder what Texans think.  OORAH!
